‘Day And Night’ Director Teddy Newton Set To Direct ‘Sneaks,’ Ohio’s First Animated Feature


Written by actor and comic Harland Williams, the movie follows a gaggle of misplaced sneakers which might be misplaced in New York City and should discover their approach again to their “sole mates” whereas avoiding a grasping sneakerhead.

“What’s not to like about a diverse group of sneakers making a quest through the perils of New York City?,” Williams informed The Hollywood Reporter, which first revealed the information. “It’s laced with all of the elements for adventure, comedy and deep emotional bonds.”

Sneaks might be produced at Columbus, Ohio-based Lengi Studios. Gil Cloyd and Len Hartman will produce, and Robyn Klein and Danielle Sterling will government produce.

Another longtime Pixar veteran, Ricky Nierva, who was the manufacturing designer of Up and Monsters University and character artwork director of Finding Nemo, can also be onboard. His position on the manufacturing hasn’t been revealed but.

Newton, who we’ve written about before, has loads of directing expertise as an unbiased filmmaker, having made an animated brief (Boys Night Out), a live-action brief (the unreleased mockumentary The Studio of Tomorrow), and a a live-action function (The Trouble with Lou).
